What does Gasoline consumption in Iran have to do with our economy? Other than our refineries in the state shipping more gasoline over seas to get a better price.

Oil companies in Usa are destroying the economy..Gov. needs to remove tax credits from gas companies and the ethanol producers! Let them import ethanol from Brazil sugar cane is really needed and require 1 pump(regular or midgrade be no ethanol)..www.pure-gas.org...Buy you gas with no ethanol so your corn flakes and tacos will reduce in price!

There are trucks in Iran but do that many people have private vehicles that use that much gas so 'Gasoline consumption up in hard hit Iran?' Are the Iranian sanctions working or not? Strange article! Is it mostly Military fuel use Only, for the gasoline consumption?
Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

And they're complaining their economy go up? Because it is very likely consumption and the economy go hand-in-hand.

What do you expect, when they
drive around in their special
stretch limos, that get only
6 to 8 mpg, at best?

I guess we are showing them. Really sticking it to them with our tough sanctions. I'm certain they are going to capitulate on their nuclear ambitions any day now. Probably become just a sweet Christian nation with a "live-let live) attitude and a genuine desire to help their neighbors in the area, right?

Nothing has changed in Iran, except they are not exporting as much oil. So I wonder why consumption has went up?
