another way for Pig Oil to make more money during an already bad economy. We're heading for a massive depression with the sequester cuts and Pig Oil driving fuel into bottlenecks again.

Trickling down from the last spike fairly quickly, but expect the next spike fairly soon.

Ah, here is a weekly inventory report that seems to have no bearing on gas prices...

Wholesale prices are dropping rapidly, despite the report (currently 2.82 vs over 3.00 a few days ago). Maybe some eventual relief?

Gas inventories are down because refining of crude is down.

Why do they slim down when demand is high? Why don't they increase production then?

This is nothing but a bunch of crap and just another way to see our pump prices jacked up to the stratosphere.

Crude oil inventories are up. Sounds like time to raise the price of crude oil! Gasoline inventories are down. Definately time to raise gasoline prices!
More news (any news) - good reason to raise prices!!

I don't believe there is higher consumption with the prices we are all paying. I think it is market manipulation to keep the prices high.

In some parts of the Midwest not many people went anywhere for a few days due to back to back major snow storms with high winds and lots of drifting.

Inventories down as refineries produce less. Just a way to force prices higher.
