Sorry nomad.... the GOP isn't interested in jobs or clean water, air or even protecting wildlife.....just how much clean (untraceable) money they can get.....

We do not need the XL pipeline and I’m getting really tired of hearing about it. It is designed to carry trash oil from the tar sands to the Gulf cost, more than likely for export. Canada should wise up and leave that junk in the ground instead of widening their environmental disaster in the sub-arctic.

no, it will show that jobs and people being able to survive in this economy are just as important as the epa blocking jobs until they decide to see the pipeline can be built while keeping the earth safe.the air clean, the waters drinkable, the wildlife protected and make fuel costs go back to where everyone can afford to buy the necessities of life again.in other words it's not a either or scenario.

I fail to see how the 2012 elections could be interpreted to mean that the voters want environment concerns to be ignored!

I am not expecting Obama to approve Keystone project. He does consider jobs and the economy to be a high priority. He only cares about raising taxes so he can have more revenue to "play" with.

There is a balanced approach that would allow the pipeline but impose strict environmental protection measures. It doesn't have to be black or white.

Obama could care less about jobs with nearly 20% of America out of work when all those who are out of work or under employed are tallied instead of the politically doctored numbers fed to us by the media. America needs American made products and to have products you need people working in America.

“The administration is going to have to move where the voters are, and take advantage of the shale energy we have and the opportunities to bring more oil from Canada."
Funny how they didn't finish that sentence to say "bring more oil from Canada, through the U.S., and TO China."
If you really want to create jobs, forget the pipeline. How about fixing our crumbling roads and bridges???

if the numbers on oil storage capacity can be believed, why are we in such a hurry to build this pipeline?
why does canada import our sweet crude and want to ship us crappy oil from tar sand? i still would like to see who in the companies will be held responsible for a mishap..

obummer's policy is "my way or the highway". don't expect any approval of K XL during his administration as he leads this once great country down the road to a third world country and sends the recession into a depression.
